Description

Taq DNA Polymerase Master Mix RED is a ready-to-use 2x master mix composed of Ampliqon Taq DNA Polymerase, the NH4+ buffer system, dNTPs, magnesium chloride, and an inert red dye and stabilizer.

Each reaction requires 25 µl of the 2x Master Mix. All you need to add is primers, the DNA template, and PCR grade water to a total reaction volume of 50 µl.

The red tracking dye and stabiliser do not interfere with PCR but, if necessary, the red dye can be removed from the PCR product by spin column purification or other similar methods. Following amplification, PCR products can be loaded directly onto agarose gels. The red dye provides easy visualisation of both pipetting and gel loading. Generated PCR products can also be used for sequencing after treatment with either spin-columns or a PCR clean-up kit.
